01/About

Software should belong to the people who pay for it.

We started Inherit Code around a simple belief: software should create independence, not dependency. Every engagement is designed so that ownership, documentation and control stay with the client.

Enterprise Software Studio

Built for ownership. Engineered to last.

We design and deliver web platforms, SaaS products, and automation systems with full code, infrastructure, and knowledge transfer.

02/The industry problem

Most software engagements create dependency.

Many agencies optimize for retainers, recurring dependencies and proprietary processes. The relationship is structured to keep the vendor involved, not to make the client self-sufficient.

Clients often receive software they can use but not fully understand, operate or extend. The interface works. The logic behind it stays opaque.

When the engagement ends, the knowledge leaves with the vendor. What remains is a system the business depends on but cannot truly own.

03/Why we exist

The goal isn't delivery. The goal is ownership.

Software is only valuable if the people operating the business can control it.

That means

  • source code access
  • infrastructure access
  • documentation
  • architectural clarity
  • operational understanding

Ownership is not a feature added at the end. It is a design decision made from day one.

04/The name

It's in our name.

Clients inherit

  • +the system
  • +the infrastructure
  • +the architecture
  • +the knowledge

No lock-in. No black boxes. No dependence.

The software becomes theirs.

05/How we think

05/Partnership

Own the system.
Inherit the knowledge.

We build alongside your team and hand over everything, the source code, the infrastructure, and the thinking behind every decision. The result is software that outlasts the engagement, and a team equipped to own it for the long term.
